NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home - Advanced
This course teaches students the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential for avoiding dangerous confrontations and for the safe, effective, and responsible use of a concealed pistol for self-defense outside the home. Prerequisite: This course is for adults who may legally possess a firearm, are of good repute and possess defensive pistol-handling skills. Participants are taught the basic legal concepts relating to the use of firearms in self-defense and general gun safety rules and those safety principles specific to a defensive situation.

NRA Personal Protection Inside the Home - Advanced
This 8-hour course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for the protection of self and family, and provides information on the law-abiding individual’s right to self-defense. Students will shoot approximately 100 rounds of ammunition and learn basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation, firearms, and the law, how to choose a handgun for self-defense, and continued opportunities for skill development.

South Carolina Concealed Weapons Program [CWP]
The South Carolina CWP course requires students to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to safely carry and use a concealed firearm legally, ethically, and with confidence. Successful completion of the South Carolina Concealed Weapons (CWP) Course requires students to demonstrate an understanding of South Carolina Concealed Carry Law and basic holster draw, self-defense handgun proficiency should they be required to use a firearm for personal defense, or the defense of another.
